Flying with its wings wide open Jebibong Peak

(Woraksan National Park)

제비봉

If you take a cruise from Janghoenaru and look towards Gudambong Peak, you will see Jebibong Peak(721 meters), which is shaped like a swallow with its wings wide open. Whether it's about to take flight or descend from the sky is unknown, but its large wings look as powerful as the vast landscape of Chungjuho Lake.

Jebibong Peak is a gem for hikers who love to hike in the fall, as it overlooks the Seolmadonggyegok Valley, which is famous for its fall foliage, and boasts a view that rivals that of Gudambong Peak and Oksunbong Peak, which are located along the banks of Chungjuho Lake.

Starting from the Janghoe Rest Area, the course leads through the beautiful scenery of Chungjuho Lake with an extraordinary combination of rocks and boulders, and the summit is densely forested with Mongolian oak and Cork oak trees.

From the summit, you can see the beautiful view of Chungjuho Lake to the west, and the cruise ships sailing by, leaving long ripples of water, add to the beauty. Gudambong Peak, one of the Eight Scenic Views of Danyang, spreads out in front of you as if you can hold it in your hands.
