Seonamgyegok Valley, where the waters of Woraksan Mountain flow into the Namhangang River, is home to three of the Eight Scenic Views of Danyang: Sangseonam Rock, Jungseonam Rock, and Haseonam Rock.

The three-story Danyang Haseonam Rock is more than 30 meters wide, forming a courtyard, with a large round rock on top of it. It is also called "Buddha Rock" or "Maitreya Rock" because its shape resembles Maitreya. This rock was called 'Seonam' because Im Jae-gwang, the governor of Danyang during the reign of King Seongjong of Joseon, thought it was the rock where the gods roamed. It was also called 'Hongam' because the mirror-clear water flows day and night, and the rock reflected in the water is brilliant like a rainbow. These various names are probably due to the countless charms of Danyang Haseonam Rock.

In spring, you can enjoy royal azaleas and azaleas, in summer, the dark green leaves and clear, sparkling, cool streams, and in autumn, you can enjoy the scenery of maple leaves in full bloom. Haseonam Rock is located right by Route 59, so it's easy to get to.
