Feel the heat of the drama! Ondal Open Film Set

Located in Ondal Tourist Park in Yeongchun-myeon, Danyang, Ondal Open Film Set is famous for filming various dramas such as "Empress Cheonchu," "The Kingdom of the Winds," "Iljimae," "Legend" and "Yeongaesomun." The set displays costumes and other props used during the filming of the dramas, and the characters in the dramas are modeled so that visitors can take pictures with them. In addition, there are various attractions such as Ondaldonggul Cave, a theme park, Ondalsanseong Fortress, and Ondalgwan Museum within the set, offering visitors more fun.

Empress Cheonchu

The KBS drama "Empress Cheonchu" is set in the Goryeo Dynasty and focuses on the turbulent personal history of Empress Cheonchu, who dreamed of a great empire and risked her life for the sake of her country rather than her own comfort. In particular, it portrays her as a politician who led four kings, Gyeongjong, Seongjong, Mokjong, and Hyunjong, in the early Goryeo period. Except for the large-scale battle scenes in the movie, all outdoor filming was done at 'Ondal Open Film Set'.

Iljimae

SBS historical drama 'Yeon Gaesomun' follows the life of Yeon Gaesomun, the general Daemakriji in the late Goguryeo Dynasty, who protected the sovereignty of Goguryeo by repelling four invasions of the Tang Dynasty from China. The 'Ondal Tourist Park Set' served as the Chinese setting for the drama, including the Sui-Tang imperial palace, the residences of major characters, and the Sui-Tang street of Luoyang Castle.
