
Where Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Gangwon-do meet, Eoraesan Mountain (1,064m)

This mountain is part of the Sobaek Mountains and is divided into two peaks, north and south, with the summit being Dunbong Peak. According to the 'Yeojidoseo', it is located 58-li (22kms) west of the regional office."
Okdongcheon Stream, a branch of the Namhangang River, flows around the northern base, and Mahulcheon Stream flows around the southern slope. At the foot of the mountain, there is a village called 'Jeotdonggae' because it has many fir trees, on the border of Gangwon-do, Chungcheong-do, and Gyeongsang-do. The word "Jeotdonggae' is a derivation of the word 'Jeondonggae'. At the stem of the mountain is a peak called Samdobong Peak because it is the border area of the three provinces of Gangwon-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, and Gyeongsangbuk-do.
