Built in Seongsan on the banks of the Namhan River in Hari, Yeongchun-myeon

Ondal Sanseong is a place where Goguryeo and Silla fought fiercely to take over the Han River during the Three Kingdoms period, and tells the story of love with Princess Pyeonggang along with the dance story of General Ondal, the son-in-law of King Pyeongwon of Goguryeo. Danyang Ondal Mountain Castle is a 972 meter long and 3 meter high half-moon stone with a relatively well-preserved original shape. Artifacts from the Three Kingdoms period have been unearthed inside the castle, the site of a well remains, and there is a trapezoidal drainage hole on the outside of the castle wall. The shape of the southwest gate and the protrusion of the east gate are remarkable for their unusual appearance in ancient castles in Korea. There is a limestone cave called Ondal Cave at the bottom of the riverside cliff on the northeast side of the castle, and legends related to Ondal have been handed down on the mountain across the river on the north side of the castle. The castle wall is in a good state of preservation, and it is an important site for studying construction methods. Under the castle, along with Ondal Cave, there is an Ondal tourist site. Ondal Tourist Attractions has various themed tourist facilities, including a theme park and lawn plaza with the theme of Ondal and Pyeonggang, an outdoor stage, Ondal Hall where you can get a glimpse of Ondal and Pyeonggang's love stories, local restaurants, and souvenir shops. In particular, the Danyang Open Set (drama shooting set), which was built within the Ondal tourist site, is famous as a filming location for Taewang Sa Shinki and Yeon Gae Rumors, and Taewang Sa Shinki and props used in the drama are displayed together on the set, and it is also possible to take pictures with characters in the modeled drama. Also, if you go towards Yeongwol, Osari, an area bordering Yeongwol, has convenient facilities where you can experience rafting on the Namhan River, many group tourists are looking for it, and it is popular as a preferred tourist product.
