탁오대암각자

It is said that during the Joseon Myeongjong era, Toegye Yi-Hwang, who was serving as the governor of Danyang, came here every day to relieve the fatigue of his body and mind due to official duties, and named it Tagodae, meaning that if you wash your hands and feet here, you can cleanse your mind.

Engraved in the regular script on the central right part of a natural rock, the inscription measures 13 cm in width and 46 cm in height, consisting of three characters.
